The NILP – Nonviolent Interfaith Leadership Program – is a 5-day residential program aiming to bring together young people of different faith traditions in order to enhance their leadership skills, to support their local communities in taking nonviolent effective action. (http://
Efrat Wolfson, an Israeli peace and sustainability activist, (currently living in the Byron shire) was part of the April 2014 NILP facilitator team. Due to the great feedback and success of the program, the team has committed to raise funds so that the program can take place again in 2015.
Since the idea for the fundraiser was born, the beautiful people of our shire community came on board and we managed to co-create a fantastic, informative, inspiring and FUN evening for you to enjoy!
We are very excited to share this special evening with you!
